All our psychotherapists have had years of substantial postgraduate training in psychotherapy. They come from a variety of professional therapeutic backgrounds, and therefore have a wealth of clinical experience.

All are accredited with the UKCP/BABCP and are bound by their code of ethics.

How long does a typical session last?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes, though this may vary from time to time depending on the nature of the work.

How long will therapy last?
CBT is a time limited therapy generally lasting between 10 and 16 sessions, whilst other therapies may last longer. Your own therapist will advise you how long your therapy will last for.

Is therapy covered by health insurance?
Yes, therapy can be covered through health insurance.

Where are you located?
Our premises at Park Circus, offer private consulting rooms in an easily reached central Glasgow location.

How do I arrange therapy?

Do I need to be referred by a GP?
If you are self-funding your treatment then you can contact Equilibria directly. If, however, you are using health insurance, it is necessary to contact your GP.
