About Us
Equilibria Psychotherapy Clinic is a private outpatient facility offering comprehensive mental health and counselling services.

Our purpose is to provide the highest quality services that are tailored to the specific needs and situations of our clients.

Our goal is to enhance the personal adjustment and functioning of individuals, couples, and families who come to us for assistance. We offer rapid responses to treatment requests, returning calls for help within one working day.

At Equilibria we offer three main therapeutic approaches. The goal in all three is for you to become aware of what you're doing, how you're doing it, and how you can change yourself, whilst at the same time learning how to accept and value yourself.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) explores the interaction of our thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It focuses on the way you think and act in order to help you to overcome your emotional and behavioural problems. Using a set of structured techniques, a CBT practitioner will help you to identify how your thoughts largely determine how you feel and behave. In challenging this thought process, you can learn how to react in a more helpful way.

Gestalt Psychotherapy is an experiential therapy that aims to create a positive environment where you can truly experience who you are, and come to know yourself more fully. It is about examining your life patterns with the focus on developing awareness.

Person-centered therapy involves the conditions of empathy and acceptance in a non-judgmental environment which allows personal growth and therapeutic change. It is particularly suited to grief work.

Working together, Equilibria will find the right treatment programme for you.
