Saturday 9th March
Do you find it hard to be assertive, struggling to state your needs and wants clearly?
Do you find you are able to be assertive at work, but not at home or visa versa?
Do you find it difficult to be assertive with family or friends or your children or even with yourself?
We will be running a 1 day assertiveness group on Saturday 9th March from 10-4pm.
The goal of the group is that you will learn the differences between passive, aggressive and assertive behaviors. You will learn what being assertiveness actually means, what prevents you from being assertive, how you can challenge unhelpful behaviors and how to appropriately articulate your own needs and wants.
We will also look at dealing with criticism and how to say “no.”
The group will be both psycho-educational and interactive.
The cost of the group will be £140. Tea and coffee will be provided. There will be a break for lunch but lunch is not provided.
